Study Abroad Spanish Program for College Credit?
Question: Study Abroad Spanish Program for College Credit?
I have 2 “gap” quarters coming up at school, Winter and Spring term, where I won’t be taking any courses. I will start again in the Fall next year.
The gap is a real headache…but I want to make the most of it and travel.
When I drop below full time I will lose my health insurance and travel benefits though…
Any recommendations for a study abroad program that counts as college credit?
First choice is Spanish language immersion type course
winter travel insurance

It looks like you feel really screwed up by this problem. Hope you may found helpful here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.info/free-online-health-insurance.htm .
Look into what your school offers for study abroad options, but if you’re not pleased with that I recommend looking into IES.
I went to Barcelona with their internship program. You can live with a family, work in an all Spanish environment, and take classes in Spanish.
Look it up at: http://www.ies.org
There are several companies similar to IES that offer all types of flexible options. You can also look into what other universities in the U.S. offer. You don’t always have to attend the school officially to go on their programs. Look into it and good luck!
