I’ve stayed at the Grand Oasis in Cancun and had a great time. It’s all inclusive including the drinks (may I stress the importance of tipping!!) There’s a bus stop right out front, and for 30 cents you can take it right into the main part of town for shopping, clubs, restaurants too. It’s about a 20 minute ride.
I booked my trip on cheapcaribbean.com but since I got my flight from LA, I don’t know if that’ll be helpful to you, but it might be worth looking into.
