Hi all :) Am heading on a cruise leaving from Genoa in mid February, which travels to Israel, and Egypt. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about what type of clothes to bring for the trip, as I’m not 100% sure what the temperatures or weather will be like??

I’m sorry I don’t know the answer to your question, but I do suggest that since you obviously have internet access that you do a bit of research on the internet! Go to official web sites for the two countries and look for links to average temperatures and climate. You can also go to the major weather-related web sites. I do this sort of thing frequently, and always get reliable information.

NO, No, No, Royal Caribbean does not sell any drink packages on any of its ships other than for soft drinks. And you must buy the soft drink package the first day of the cruise. The soft drink packages are $ 6 per day for adults and $ 4. per day for kids.
However, you can go to the gifts web page and order wine for your cabin and/or for your dinner table. I have been on many RC cruises and do generally order a bottle of wine for our cabin.

Surprisingly you can still get cheap roundtrip tickets from a travel agent. Don’t use just any travel agent, but look for a wholesaler. They usually will still sell 1 ticket at a time (not only just bulk) but they buy these tickets in bulk, so they can get it cheap. I’ve gotten airfares $ 250 or less roundtrip.

I’m doing a lot of research on GPS units, but none of their websites seem to say whether or not they come with route planning software, update software, etc. What has your experience been?
I need a unit that will plan and optimize (not just sort) a route with up to 80 waypoints.

while all PNVs (personal navigation devices) come with software for routing etc, i am not aware of any that will optimize your route. it would be a nice piece of functionality but from what i’ve seen you have to define the order yourself.
