Question: CAN I GET TEMPORARY CAR INSURANCE FOR TRAVELING?
Me and my friend are purchasing a beater car to drive to California, from Toronto, to visit a friend. We need insurance on the car for like 12 days. Is there any companies that will do this? Or are their any loopholes i can sneak my way through to accomplish this?

There are no insurance companies in Ontario that will insure a car for 12 days. You will have to purchase six month policy and then cancel it after you’re done.
