Question: Good ideas family vacation – Caribbean -beach, 14 and 10 year old, direct flight from newark ?
Looking to go first week of April
Want a direct flight from Newark – hopefully
want a junior suite or 2 bedroom suite – similar
prefer all inclusive but can do other as well
Have done jamaica several times so want different
Want access to jungle or volcanoes or something – daughter and I can only beach so much-
Do not need golf or casino
budget flexible – 4k or more
family golf vacation

I hated Nassau so I wouldn’t recommend it. How about Mexico? Machu Picu is cool. Added bonus of kids learning something.

Fly to Fort Lauderdale, Tampa or Miami and take a Caribbean cruise. You stop at different island ports and can take excursions into the rain forests or waterfalls, or go snorkeling from white sand beaches. While on ship the activities for children and adults are too numerous to list. And it’s all-inclusive except for alcohol. Another great place to see volcanoes, wildlife, rainforest AND volcanoes is Costa Rica.

Perhaps Puerto Rico? It has the rainforest on one side of the island that’s a pretty cool trek.

You could also look at Cancun or Riveria Maya. Lots of forest treks, you can head to cozumel for some of the best snorkeling/diving in the world, and all the Mayan ruins/pyramids are pretty awesome.

Just to correct another answer, Machu Picchu is on the Pacific side of Peru, not the Caribbean side of Mexico. Perhaps they meant Chichen Itza.
