I need help finding a resort in the Bahamas that meets my families needs!?

My favorite place in the Bahamas is Treasure Cay. It’s a very small island of 2 bedroom cottages (they call them villas). It is very quiet and one can spend many hours on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

For transportation, you can rent golf carts. These carts will take you to the tennis courts where the tennis instructor Ivan (who also works as a security guard/bar tender at night) gives very good lessons.

There are a number of restaurants, but each cottage has a full kitchen and there is a well stocked grocery store on the island. When we have gone with the family (11 of us total ranging in ages from 1 year to 75 years old) my dad cooked for all of us and we all pitched in with the dishes (except those lazy 1 year olds).

There are two bars/restaurants where many of the kids go at night. There is music and dancing and the teenagers have a lot of fun. I also remember a few nights where me and some other kids got together some wood and had an all night bonfire on the beach. All we were missing was a shirtless guy with long hair playing a guitar.

This is a resort town in the Bahamas. It’s not an all inclusive private club. Natives have privately owned shops and other stores. It is also a lot cheaper than an all inclusive. A two bedroom “villa” costs $ 1,200 for an entire week. There are other places to stay that may better accommodate all seven of you, but we always stayed in the villas. That might have been easier seeing that the adult to kid ratio was higher.
