Question: Does anyone know of any good campsites for children?
I have recently bought a tent to go on weekends/short breaks away with the family. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good campsites that cater for children ( I have three aged 8, 2 1/2 and 1). We live in Lincolnshire and had a test run about 10 miles from home but would like to venture a little further for our next trip!

Well I live in Ohio and I’m not too sure how far your willing to travel but there is a REALLY nice camping area near Lake Erie called Indian Creek and it’s in Geneva-on-the-Lake. My family has been going there since before I was born and it’s totally worth the trip. It’s resourceful for adults and children. You can either camp in a tent or an RV/camper. Also, their rates are not too bad to camp. The have nice restrooms and showers. And also a pond to fish at & two swimming pools. Also, going uptown is really fun at night there are some fun gamerooms for children and nice bars & wineries for adults.

If you do ever go, be sure to stop in town and eat at Eddie’s Grill. They are famous for their footlong hot dogs! Absolutely amazing food! Madson Donuts is amazing too along with Capo’s Pizza.
