As

travel agent for over 25 years I am still constantly on how many people still surprised considering a Nile cruise as one of their best wishes to 10 trip. It is as if the mere mention of the mighty River Nile conjures up images of ancestors with the view

Usually you begin “adventure” at the airport in Luxor, where you will be quickly transferred to your Nile cruise ship. Names such as “Star of Luxor,” “The King Tut,” “Alexander the Great” and “Ramses”, contribute to your hope and when you come on board your “home” for the next seven days will not be disappointed.

Recently, I visited El Fustat on the Nile cruises and was very impressed. On boarding you enter the air conditioning and wooden reception desk, where are you from crew members form a welcoming committee, see the welcome aboard. We often left the ship at 08:00 clock or sometimes earlier, to ensure that we meet the atmosphere and experience of these sites wonderfully evocative without enjoying unbearably hot.

However, these trips at the time of day also make sure that you back on board just in time to enjoy lunch in the restaurant. who won a glass or two of wine or local Egyptian ( ), leads to a wonderful sense of well-being. I do not know if it was after experiencing the wonders of this ancient civilization, or wine, but somehow I can promise you will feel very relaxed.

The afternoon

at a pace leisurely cruise, the power of the Nile are resumed. With a top platform that is fully furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, a small pool and a well stocked bar, you can in the afternoon near as much as your day Entertainment enjoy.

There is something to see life as it has thousands of years on the banks of the Nile in on each with a drink in hand, you relax a tremendous sense of calm.

the past seven days we sailed, we enjoyed 12 different tours, (all part of the price we paid), some of the most interesting places I have ever visited and with our own “Egyptologist” we found a real understanding of what must have been living in

ancient Egypt.

Every night we have in the restaurant Air conditioning dined receiving the service friendly by the staff and helpful. The food we had enjoyed excellent and varied, and when a dinner not “want anything from the extensive menu was head of department getting ready to create something else for them. In fact, I found all the staff, both a restaurant and others, really friendly and helpful, what time of day and night.

After our dinner, there were several evenings “traditional” entertainment in the form of Egyptian dancers, Nubian, Egyptian belly dancers and other traditional artists. In addition, the penultimate evening, we are all at a costume party in Egypt. We bought, for pennies, a few nice dresses and gowns Egyptian and everyone had a wonderful time.

Perhaps it was because the cruise was so different from a “normal” week of vacation, full of experience and activity, but ended too soon our Nile cruise.

After waiting for departure for both our passengers and crew oh so beautiful, we were ready to Luxor airport, transfer to begin our journey home.
