I’ve been browsing, but finding hotels in the area that aren’t 21+ check-in is difficult.
I would like something within a mile and a half of 6th Street & the Convention Center so that I can walk to the venues…
And less than $ 300 a night, please. I know the Hilton–ironically enough–is 18+, but the rates are too much for a week-and-a-half stay.

We just got back from a trip to Cancun. I was wondering if anyone knows how many hours a day the staff works at these hotels? We would watch an intense performance (live las vegas style show) that would last until 10:30 pm and then see the same dancers working at 8 am the next morning and all throughout the day out by the pool in the hot sun. I dont know how they do it……Do they live there?
Yes, they work their a**es off. They would be dripping in sweat during the shows, dancing in the theatre without any air..then entertain guests at the pool, serve drinks, etc. in the hot hot sun…they were very young, very nice, always at your service..my gosh, we are spoiled americans.
