Airport Laptop Bags Carry On?
Question: Airport Laptop Bags Carry On?
Hi,
So I know there is a security check and they tell me that there are certain laptop bags which would make the checkpoint quicker. I have a Caselogic laptop bag that I bought a couple years ago and wanted to know if that is good enough to bring on my travels.

They said it had to have its own department in the bag. But I live in the US so I wanted to make sure this bag is ok bringing on as a carry on.
Thanks if anyone can help
I was planning to have my laptop in there plus some other things. But I was going to put the laptop in the laptop only department. And put a book, ipod, etc in the larger compartment

As the laptop isn’t covered by anything then you should be fine. Just make sure it’s the only thing in the bag.
Your bag is not considers “airport friendly”. You need to remove the laptop from the bag when you go through security. Put your laptop bag, your shoes, wallet, etc in one security basket. Your laptop needs to be by it’s self in a basket.
Don’t purchase a “airport friendly” bag. It’s no big deal to use a bag like yours. I travel every week and use just a normal laptop bag.
