How can I drive to Yellowstone NP from Logan, UT?
1Question: How can I drive to Yellowstone NP from Logan, UT?
I wanna drive to Yellowstone park through south entrance, however, I searched a lot on mapquest and yahoo map, all they showed were driving through north entrance.
I think driving through south entrance is faster when I started from Logan or Salt Lake city, Utah.
Any hotel recommendation for this park. thanks!
Plz help.

Logan, UT to Yellowstone NP south entrance:
Depart Logan on US-89 North
Take US-30 North in Montpelier, ID
Take US-89 East leaving Montpelier, ID
Continue on US-26/89 East at Palisades Reservoir north of Alpine, WY
Continue on US-26/89/189/191 North at Hoback Junction, WY
Continue on US-26/89/189/191 through Jackson, WY
Take Teton Park Road (scenic route) near Moose, WY in Grand Teton NP
Take US-191 North after passing Signal Mountain
US-191 will take you into Yellowstone NP through the south entrance.
Total distance is approximately 243 miles with a driving time of about 5 hours (not including stops). You can get much better directions and much more detail if you use commercial mapping software like Microsoft Streets and Trips or Delorme Street Atlas. You can also control the routing to your destination. These products usually sell for less than $ 50.
Lodging inside the park is difficult to get unless you make your reservations 8 months to a year in advance. This is especially true of the Old Faithful area. Check the Xanterra web site shown below for room availability. If you can’t find suitable accommodations inside the park, you might be able to find something in West Yellowstone. Use a search engine like Yahoo or Google to search for “West Yellowstone lodging”. You should get a number of hits. You can also use Tripadvisor.com to search for accommodations and check hotel reviews.
Personally, I don’t care to stay in the Old Faithful area because of the crowds. I have stayed at Mammoth Hot Springs but found the location rather remote from the other areas of the park. I prefer to stay at Canyon Lodge which is a good compromise between location and over-crowding. Although West Yellowstone is outside the park, it’s a convenient place to stay if you’re mainly interested in the Lower, Middle and Upper Geyser Basins and the Norris Geyser Basin. The motels there are also less expensive and provide more amenities than park accommodations. Good luck!
What is the shortest and safest route driving from Chicago to Sedona, Arizona for a woman?
3Question: What is the shortest and safest route driving from Chicago to Sedona, Arizona for a woman?
I am planning a drive to Sedona before year-end. I have tried mapping routes through various websites, but they all seem to be more work than necessary. Looking at an Interstate map of the U.S., it seems that I could just take 55S to 44W (in Missouri), take that to 40W (in Oklahoma) and just take that straight west through Texas, New Mexico and than Arizona. I assume hotels/motels would be available throughout if I needed to stop for the night. Has anyone driven from Chicago to Sedona? If so, what route did you follow? Did you pay any tolls? If so, how many? I am a female planning to go alone so a safe route to follow is a must! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks to all.

What´s going on with all these Cubans in Mexico?Mexico & Cuba’s corruption and illegals traffic in AZ’s border?
2Question: What´s going on with all these Cubans in Mexico?Mexico & Cuba’s corruption and illegals traffic in AZ’s border?
Mexico & Cuba’s corruption and immigrants traffic in AZ’s borders
Yesterday, the Mexican investigative magazine Proceso published an article unveiling the ties of corrupt Mexican officials and the Cuban governments – intelligence ties and Castro’s relatives included – with traffic of illegal immigrants (and who knows what else) from Cuba to the United Sates.
Mexican investigative reporter José Antonio Pérez Stuart has uncovered links between the international publicity campaign against Arizona and money from powerful Latin American narco-Castroite mafias. That’s also why.
Mexican newspapers have also revealed that a Cuban gentleman named Boris “El Boris” del Valle, son of Cuba’s former Minister of the Interior (KGB-trained Secret Police/Intelligence) and a relative of Fidel Castro’s wife Dalia del Valle , worked closely with the Sanchez couple and was the “hands-on” operative for the smuggling of drugs and humans into the U.S. His official title while residing in Cancun was Gregorio Sanchez’ “Security Assessor,” as befit his title in Cuba as a dashing G-2 (military intelligence) officer.
With the assistance of his Cuban home-boys “el Boris” (now in a Mexican jail) had set up his own police/military fiefdom in the Cancun area. Boris worked hand-in-glove with Los Zetas, probably the most “efficient” gang of drug smuggling “enforcers” in the world. He also imported hundreds of fellow Castroite functionaries to staff his smuggling operation. Most of these Cuban agents entered Mexico under the guise of “cultural exchanges.”
By the way, normally the MSM would brand Los Zetas a “death squad.” But since their tortures and rub-outs generally benefit “leftists’ (Castro, Ortega, Chavez and their allied narco-mafiosi) mum is the term in mainstream media circles. Now find some link, however tenuous, from them to the CIA or a “U.S. backed strong man” and—I ga-ron-tee! — the label “death-squad” would become instantly viral throughout the worldwide media.
So let’s step back and have a look: a nation classified by the U.S. State Dept. as a State Sponsor of Terrorism (Cuba) is likely helping smuggle Al Qaeda –allied terrorists into the U.S.
Obama Team’s response? Why let’s abolish those hideously embarrassing Bush-era restrictions and make it easier for Cubans to travel to the U.S., all in the name of—you-guessed it—“cultural exchanges!”
