Question: Which hotel do you like in Palm Springs?
I’m trying to find a nice hotel in Palm springs but every hotel has good and bad reviews i don’t know which to choose. I want something fairly new and modern and clean but not over $ 200. Which hotel would you reccomend for a couple in their 20′s?

Sometimes newer is not necessarily better. The Old Ranch Inn is my number one pick in PS. Older, but excellent facilities, great location, well-kept up.

Question: New York City residents who act as tour guides?
I have heard that some locals in NYC act as volunteer tour guides and show people the real [non tourist] parts of the city.

Has anyone heard of them or know about what they do, where they go and how much it costs to use the service?

Services are completely FREE. There is a no-tipping policy.

I can’t think of anywhere that would be nice to go in October without breaking the bank. Any suggestions??? We live in Illinois, love the outdoors, and prefer nice hotels that feel cozy and secluded with awesome views and great food nearby. PS, we’re not interested in gambling.

Question: What are some not-to-be missed things to do and places to eat in Steamboat Springs, CO?
My husband and I are going to Steamboat Springs next week. Any ideas on what to do, things to see, places to eat, etc. would be wonderful (we’re from the Denver area so we’re not “new” to the state or anything).

Strawberry Springs is a MUST! Hit that place up every day while you’re down there. Also, try to find the actual springs themselves. Those are cool to. They’re right off downtown. When you find them, walk behind them on the train tracks. There are a few more hidden back there.

If you’re driving, comming down form Rabbit Ears pass is a breath taking experience. That’ll give you an idea of the “White Mans Curse” … Ask about it.

But hit up strawberring springs like its you’re last vacation on earth. I love steamboat. We’ll be there for the COG rally over the weekend of the 22nd. If you like cars and you’re there for that, this could be something to enjoy as well.

I have been selected to submit a proposal for the location of the 2015 Nation Leadership Conference for Business Professionals of America.
Recent locations are Reno, Nevada; Dallas, Texas; Orlando, Florida; Anaheim, California; Washington, DC; and Chicago Illinois.
