Question: Should I buy travel insurance if I’m buying my flight using frequent flyer miles?
Hello,
My husband, baby and I will be traveling from Los Angeles to Barbados for Spring Break in 2011. Both of their tickets have been purchased using frequent flyer miles on Delta. Is there a point to buying travel insurance offered through the airline? If yes, what would it protect me from? flight delays? lost baggage? weather?
baggage insurance

You need to read the small print of any travel insurance that you intend to buy and see if it is relevant for you. Ask the airline what is included and get the agents name you gives you this information better still ask for a hard copy of the policy.
