there is a hostle on the north end of the strip just past the Stratosphere.
Honestly, it is a dump.
Station casions.com and you can get a room from $ 29 to $ 50 a night depending on the day of the week.
Budget suits, Segal suits are extended stays and weeklys and will be in your budget just search them on the web page. no need to advance book as they are under occupied right now.

Excalibur and Monte Carlo e.g. are nice hotels with good prices. The best is to book rooms with a promotion code in order to get the best price. Check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com for the latest codes.

If your on a tight budget I’d recommend staying at the Excalibur or Imperial Palace on the strip. both range about $ 20-30 a night… here’s a link to all the promotion codes (have fun):

Luxor and Bally’s are the best low priced south/center strip properties.

Circus Circus, Riviera, Sahara, and Stratosphere are too far away from the main attractions for you to want to waste your time with. The north end of the strip (north of Encore) is pretty desolate right now. Stardust, Frontier, and Westward Ho were all demolished and nothing has been built in their places yet. Wet N Wild water park was also demolished and Crown is under construction on that lot.

The best budget hotel that is dead center of the strip is Bills Gambling Hall and Hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and you can walk everywhere easily from this hotel. About $ 40 a night.
Avoid the “north” strip hotels such as Stratosphere, Sahara, Stratosphere, Circus Circus and the Riviera. They are just too far of a walk and the area is pretty bad. For a girls trip these are a definite no.
Also the Flamingo and Harrahs are in the center and they are on the cheaper side. The center of the strip is the best place to stay with the liveliest area.
Also avoid Imperial Palace at all costs. This hotel is disgusting and everything is covered with a greasy coat. Also the elevators take over 30 minutes everytime you want to use them.
Any other questions let me know. -

There are great weekday deals at some pretty nice strip hotels right now. I’ve seen rates at Luxor and Monte Carlo for as low as $ 39 a night lately, and there are also pretty good rates at Flamingo, MGM, and Excalibur, which are all nice places. If you just want a place to sleep, Imperial Palace is something to consider. It’s right in the middle of the strip with a great location, but is old and dumpy – rates are always rock bottom, though. It’s clean enough, but there is nothing really nice or special about it. I would avoid the north end of the strip – Stratosphere, Circus Circus, Sahara – you’ll find great rates there, but there’s not much going on around there and there are some questionable areas near the Strat.

There are lots of budget hotels on the Vegas strip. Check rates at Circus Circus, Excalibur, Flamingo, Monte Carlo and Imperial Palace. Here are a few discount codes.

There are a few considerations. Getting around in Las Vegas is difficult under the best of circumstances but now that a lot of construction is going on, getting around is a nightmare. So, you definately want to stay at a hotel right on the Strip and as close to the action as possible. You can then just walk wherever you wish to go.
Below are some promo codes for discounted rates. The best rates are gotten by booking on line. The hotels try to encourage doing this as it saves the cost of personnel answering phones. You must have a credit card or you cannot book a room even if you try to do so in person.
Credit cards are accepted for most everything except gambling. You will be asked to show a photo ID along with the card most everywhere you shop.
I recommend the Imperial Palace. The promo code below is for $ 20 per night but you have to go through the process to see if there are any restrictions. Be advised, you can normally cancel a reservation without penalty but sometimes with these promotions you will not be able to. Just make sure you read all the accompanying information about taxes and fees and other restrictions before you book.
I recommend this hotel because it is not only very inexpensive but it has an excellent location. To get there from the airport, take a shuttle. These cost about $ 6 per person ($ 12 round trip) and can be found right outside the arrivals area of the airport. They have kiosks set up righ there you can just walk up and buy a ticket. The shuttles stop right nearby and they drop you directly at the entrance to your hotel. You cannot walk from the airport to the Strip. It is not accessible by foot due to security considerations.
Good Luck!
