Question: New York city Hotels?
I am planning to visit new york city for three nights, if you have any idea about the best areas there (shopping) or the best hotel, please let me know . Thank you

When I was there recently we stayed at the Hilton New York. It is in Manhatten and only about 10 blocks from Times Square. It wasn’t as pricey as the Times Square hotels, but it still will set you back. Hotels in NYC are NOT CHEAP. Good luck.

Price ultimately depends on time of the year, location and the days you plan to visit. For example, Fri, Sat, Sun will cost more than Tues, Wed, Thurs. Summers more than Spring & Fall, Spring & Fall more than Winter (after the holidays). MIdtown more than Downtown, etc.. You can find a variety of locations and rates at places like Hotel-Alternatives.com.

I work for Wyndham Worldwide, which owns 8 other hotel brands and I can tell ya hotels there aren’t cheap at all. So book in advance and the cheapest way to do it is usually online when they have ‘Buy Now Rates’ The only problem with those is your card is automatically charged and there is no refund so you have to be 100% positive about your trip. I recommend the Ramada Plaza New Yorker. Good hotel . Good location.
