mountain aspen Aspen Roaring Fork Valley, a broad, U-shaped section of earth is created by the activity removed ice in the heart of central Colorado 2 million hectares of white River National Forest. The valley stretches about 50 miles northwest of the city of Aspen in the community of Glenwood Springs, between the Sawatch range in the east and the Elk Mountains to the south and west. This strapping mountaintop glaciers created more than 15 million years to melt, the Roaring Fork River provide feeds excited, rushing east until it merges near Glenwood Springs, with the mighty Colorado River.
I like Winter Park and Breckenridge. I would probably go to Breckenridge because there is more night time entertainment and resturants (and shopping). Have fun!!
