Ok, we have 2k to spend and want a stay of 7 nights. Is it enough, a week long vacation in Cancun get too large, air ticket? I know people who get the best deals on travel, and others who thought they got and not a lot. .? Well congratulations. You can try and work out a deal with one of the on-line groups like cheep Caribbean deals. I did that and got burned for the All-inclusive part. It was advertised but in small print subject to change check with your hotel. Well it was changed and it cost my bride and an extra $ 800.00.
My bride and I Honeymooned in Cancun, however, we really like the Island Cozumel. If you think you might like to Honeymoon in Cozumel here is my contact in Cozumel. He might be hard to get a hold of, however, keep trying tell him Lance and Kathy Williams recommended the Park Royal Hotel.

If you decided to go I will tell you the cheapest way to get from the Cancun Airport to Playa del Carmen and then across the channel to Cozumel(about 35 min.)
