Question: Hawaii vacation home rental for cash. Is this normal?
We about to send a non-refundable check for $ 1500.00 as a deposit on a vacation home in Hawaii. Is cash normal for this type of transaction? I know there are a lot of scams out there. Thanks!

Yes, usually if it is privately owned. I did the same thing in St Thomas, except I sent it via Pay Pal to the person’s Pay Pal account.

Your cashed check will serve as a receipt if something goes wrong.

Question: Am I the only one who thinks most of these “art deco” hotels in Miami Beach aren’t worth the price?
These hotels looks nice in pictures on the websites but are actually trash when you stay in them. I’ve stayed in a few on Ocean Drive and Collins Ave and was very disappointed. The next time I go to Miami I will fork out the extra cash and stay at Foutainbleu, Ritz or one of those other nicer hotels.

With those hotels you really are paying mostly for the location. They are older and definilty not as nice as the Fountainbleu but I still like them. They have old charm that you cant find anymore. When you get to the bigger hotels a room at the fountain view looks just like the room at a doubletree in Kississimee. The main difference is the view is different.

there’s the hilton hotel sherraton hotel across the street. they are close to the prudential look it up on the pute or dial 411

in fact all the hotel’s in downtown boston are close to the t. i cant think of one that’s not. the green line and and the back bay depot are all handy and close to most of the hotel’s down there. just pick a hotel.

Question: Better Snowboarding: The Canyons or Park City Mountain Resort?
im heading to park city for some snowboarding with 3 of my friends this march and I was wondering which is better: canyons or park city mtn. Deer Valley is obviously out since they dont allow snowboarders. Price is not a huge concern since we are staying with family friends and therefor have no lodging expenses. We will be boarding for 3 full days

I just left park city and i found the canyons to be much better. They just got 3 feet of powder and the slopes were great all day. Lift lines are always short to none. Park City is so crowded and some lift lines took 20 to 30 min. The slopes at the canyons are generally better and less crowded plus it is the biggest resort in utah, so you will have your hands full with all the skiing you can handle. Park City is my favorite place to go riding so im sure you will have a great time!

I looked it up and all the hiltons came up. I don’t know if you are going to find cheap with that.
