Question: Are there any adults only resorts in the Bahamas?
I am aware of SuperClubs (Breezes) on Nassau, but want to experience something else. Been there 3 times and LOVE it but looking to try something new. Willing to stay on any other island (but Bahamas only). Its for me and my sister so I think the “couples” places might be out of the question. Not looking to spend a lot….possibly around $ 1,000 per person ALL INCLUSIVE. Thanks.

Sandals in Nassau is couples only, all-inclusive. You can check to see what they mean by couples only. That’s it besides Breezes. You can Check out Club Med Columbus Isle in San Salvador. There are other all-inclusive places but not adults only.

Cruise lines don’t generally offer single rates. Either you go with someone or you pay a double fare (a single supplement) for a cabin by yourself. Now I did recently see that Crystal cruise line will have a singles cruise, but they will match you up with another single in the cabin with you or you can pay the single supplement. (do you really want to share a 9ft by 12ft room with someone you don’t know?) BUT, Crystal is a high end cruise line so you will pay more for your fare than you would on Carnival, Royal caribbean, NCL, or Princess. So its NOT an inexpensive line.
One suggestion, the lowest priced cabin on ships are inside cabins. So pick a cruise line, like NCL, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and just book 2 tickets for inside. On some 7 day cruises that could be as little as $ 1600. if you can find a special. Or, do the same for a 5-day cruise.
Regardless of what cabin you book, you get the exact same things on ship.

with 7 adults go with the bigger 8 passenger you got luggage so the more room the better I would look into renting a full size van if it is practical you can get a 10 passenger van

We planned a family holiday abroad for the year 2007 when my daughter announced her pregnancy. It is due on Thanksgiving and we realize that going out of the country will not happen, but we want a nice family vacation before work the two younger children and the school leaving examinations. I need a few ideas that will please all. Ages are 48, 47, 23, 16, 15 and baby is six months. We have done Disney, New York and Long with Iceland last holiday great success.
