There are some hotels that you can get really good deals at depending on when you make reservations and how many are staying. One that’s not bad at all is the Crowne Plaza in Garden Grove. It is a higher end hotel but has a really great price if you make reservations a bit in advance. There are also a lot of cheaper hotels like the Super 8 and stuff like that within the area. Its hard to tell someone hotels when you don’t know what they are looking for.
I would suggest you go to Google Maps (its one of the links across the top of the page when you go to www.google.com). Then, type “Disneyland Anaheim, CA” in the search box and search for it. There will be a scroll box on the left side of the page with a link that sayss “Search Nearby” in it. If you click on this link and type in “hotels” it will come up with a huge list of hotels and give you links to the hotel’s website as well as show you the prices and the proximity of the hotel to Disneyland. That way you can find a hotel that you like since there are so many!

You know disneyland has alot of trees, so the views wouldnt be that good. But if you want the best one, id suggest the Dinseyland hotels. But if the hotels are like all full, id suggest you go to Buena Park, about 10 mins from disneyland and right where Knots Berry Farm is :)

im pretty sure you can check into the disneyland resort at age 18. but if not, there are several hotels directly outside the park that im almost certain you could check into.

If you can’t do that, check with the hotels. Many of them have shuttles. If they won’t take you to SM, consider going to the airport instead, then taxing from there.
I wouldn’t try public transportation with that much luggage.

I don’t mean to instigate, but how do you have proof of this? Or are you just making a generalization (which I actually would agree with)?
The only rationale I could come up with is that Orange County is predominantly a republican area, with very conservative, traditional beliefs. Therefore, outside of the box thinking is not something they’re used to.
