Planning a destination wedding 6 day trip for our guests and self to London. This is everything we have booked (unless I forgot something) is there absolutly anything we are missing?

you seem to have everything you need congratulations! but if i were you i wpuld suggest making a back up bag of emergency items, includin basic akeup, advil bandaids and whatever else is a necesity in case the luggage is misplaced. also try to make sure your dress can be taken as a carryon so nobdoy ends up taking it by mistake

My husband is looking into Flight School. We had all but decided on DCA but then found a bunch of negative forums giving it a bad reputation, however they are all from like 2005! Any update info would be great!! Or alternate solutions on good flight academies. Thanks!

I flew out of the Sanford, FL Airport for 2.5 years. It seems to be a pretty good school if he is trying to get it done quickly. Although they are a pain in the ass if you are a pilot at that airport because they are always in the way and they have the worst control tower I have ever used there, but that shouldnt mean too much to a student pilot.

Question: Is this old luggage worth anything?
I got a set of American Traveler luggage made by Texon at an estate sale. A letter inside says it was custom made. The luggage has never been used. It is in perfect condition with all the keys, original tags, even the seals over the keyholes are still in place. Who would be a good source to call to find out if this is worth anything?

luggage from days gone by has little value because it can’t be used today without oversize fees charged by the airlines

the airlines all have size limits now and prefer soft sided luggage for weight

try ebay to value it

other than that i don’t see a way for it besides storage in the bottom of your own closet

From where to where? Many airlines offer last minute deals on their websites, sometimes in business and 1st class as well as economy when they know the flights aren’t going to be full. Since you don’t mention your departure city, just check among the airlines that you know of that fly out of where you’re flying from.

I’m going to the east coast for 10 days, so I am going to bring alot of clothes. With that number of items I have to bring, I feel obligated to buy some “Luggage Organizers”. I have found some things from Eagle Creek that I im thinking about buying (luggage folders, cubes, etc)…. but when I saw the cost, YIKES!…….

Is there any other, CHEAPER, brand that has similar products?

I DID buy some Eagle Creek cubes and never ended up using them. I realized how much of a waste of money they were once it was too late!

I would recommend going to Walmart, the dollar store, or any place like that and just buy something similar. You can even find zip up plastic bags with things like body washes in them, even if you didn’t want the stuff that comes in the bag just throw that stuff out, it will still be a lot cheaper than the actually organizers.

For folding your clothes, just cut cardboard into the appropriate sizes. You can even use different size Ziplock bags (they have some pretty large ones) for holding some of your things and still being able to see what’s inside. That is what worked best for me!

We plan to arrive in Savannah and stay 2 nights, travel to Charleston and stay 2 nights. I assume travel by rental car is the best/only way to get between the cities??

Try the Azalea Inn and Gardens. It’s quite nice.

There might be bus travel between the two cities, but if you plan on seeing anything outside the historic district in Savannah you’ll need a car.

The historic tours in Savannah are great, the antique shopping is pretty decent and if you want a half day somewhere look at visiting an island about an hour south called St. Simon’s.

There is a fitness center on Deck 9 on the Oceania cruise lines. I have never actually been on this cruise, but I found it at the site below. Go check it out for more information. They have personal training, body composition analysis, and specialty fitness classes including pilates one-on-one instruction and introduction to yoga. They also have a fitness track on Deck 1o that overlooks the pool deck and the vast expanses of the ocean. I hope you have fun =D
