The Rise of Rebeck
Mauritus broadway may be Rebeck’s first foray into big time theater, but it is by no means her first. For those, who keep their ear to the theater scene, Rebeck’s name will be a familiar one from the off-Broadway circuit. Plays like Spike Heels, Bad Dates, and The Scene have all made big waves on the theater scene. Apart from that, her work Omnium Gatherum was a finalist for the prestigious Pulitzer Prize.
However, plays are not the only thing that Rebeck dabbles in. The prolific writer has also dabbled in television, penning shows like NYPD Blue, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and she was also worked on the movie Harriet the Spy.
