Well, everyone is different. I would have never charged my grandmother to take care of her. My grandma came to live with me when she was 87 and she died when she was 93. I never charged her a cent. Her SS checks and pension checks went into her savings account every month. When she died, my Mom, my aunt and uncle split the money three ways. But, I got something that no money could ever bye. I got to be with my grandma every day and my children got to know their great grandmother. How could you ever put a price on that? She was very much loved.

RN with critical care training -talk to your college advisor. it’s a great job, but they don’t hire new grads. get some experience first. pay is great for the lifespan and hours vary.

Question: Will I be able to get cheaper government insurance now that the Health Care bill has passed?
I have health insurance through my employer, but was reading that if you are within certain income guidelines, up to 400% over the poverty limit, you will receive a subsidy towards health insurance.
So, I did the rough math, and the government option with the subsidy would be cheaper than what I pay for private insurance now.
So, will I be able to decline my employer’s health insurance, and instead take the lower cost option offered by the government?
Just looking for a straight answer here, guys.
