After more than three years of research and analysis institutions must report changes to the Code of Conduct CPCU. These changes are the result of a working group, which was then analyzed under the title Code of Ethics of the American Institute for

CPCU.

The objectives of this working group were:

1 Revise the code to determine if the Code is updated to reflect changes in risk practices and the degree of control that it currently requires.

2 determine whether the code should be amended to reflect differences in business practices and customs in the world account.

3 Investigate to determine the policies, procedures and sanctions, including disciplinary procedures and whether they should be updated in response to the globalization of the economy.

4 Determine what must be done to use the code easier to guide, to influence ethical decisions.

The first recommendation was implemented was the creation of new ethical guidelines for insurance professionals. These guidelines are based on the canon CPCU basis and are Institutesâ? Free online Code of Ethics for Insurance Professionals (Ethics 311) learning module.

The second recommendation was to update the code, and separate it from CPCU 510A? Basic principles of risk management, insurance and of course professionalism. The study of this code is now part of the ethical obligation to obtain the title of the CPCU. The persecution of the CPCU designation must include the test with 50 questions for free online ethics and code of ethics CPCU (Ethics 312) learning module. By separating the study of ethics from other materials, are institutions offering more practical ethical decision-making tools for those who want to be CPCUs.
