My mother said I could choose a vacation package (hotel and flight) for 12 to 16 April, but has less than $ 1,000 for both of us are. We live in Connecticut, so I had to New York and Boston. where can one go for less than 1000? Katy

well i was deciding to go to las vegas on Dec. 28 to go live my aunt in Washington State but right now she is in Las Vegas with the rest of my family so i was going to go out to Las Vegas and when my aunt leaves i will go back with her to Washington State. And I live in Mary Esther Florida but the closest airport is in Pensacola so im going to go to Vegas on a plane then in ac ar with my aunt go to Washington State. And im going by my self and im 11 years old. So please help me find some plane tickets for cheap and im looking for tickets maybe $ 300 and under.

Question: What kind of items can I use to represent things someone could do on a vacation in Thailand?
Here is my basic planner on what I could do:
Day 1:
Go diving at Racha Yai
Includes lunch, dinner, tanks, return to hotel, etc.
Day 2:
Hang out at the beach
Cooking Class at Mom Tri’s Boathouse, includes lunch
Souvenir Shopping!!!
Dinner at Baan Rim Pa Restaurant
Day 3:
Full Day Jungle Safari Khao Sok Rainforest, elephant trek and jungle/river canoe trip
Day 4:
Phuket Butterfly Garden and Insect World
Lunch at a nearby restaurant
Phuket Aquarium
Dinner & Stunt Show Package Deal
I need things to represent most (if not all) of the activities I plan on doing. I already have a cookbook for the cooking class and was planning on using a small elephant figure with people riding on it for the elephant trek, but other than that, I have no ideas. They can be anything from purchased items (as long as they are available from most stores) to handmade objects.
Anyone have any ideas?????

I am not really sure what you’re age is or what you’re into, maybe if you provided more details about yourself, it will be easier to recommend some activities.
Thai Boxing, Training and/or watching it at one of the 3 main stadiums, Lumpinee, Radjadumnern and Omnoi. Gyms are everywhere and quite inexpensive.
Also, I would stay away from all of the aquariums and stunt show gimmicks, I have been to Thailand about 12 times, and have never thought about seeing something that I can see in my own country.
I would recommend dumping you’re itinerary and getting lost in the local flavor of various cities, it is truly the only way to experience Thailand or any other country !!

Um.. Sorry but tickets to Florida a really expensive, everyone is coming here. If you don’t live to far like North Carolina you could drive, or you could do a road trip there that could be fun. But flying here is really expensive right now, sorry.

I’m looking to get my helicopter license to be a commercial pilot. But, I’m also considering the army. My question is: If I get my license would it help my chances of being able to fly helicopters in the army?

It would certainly qualify you better than recruits who don’t know how to fly a helicopter, but you will have to go through intensive training so that you can respond when you are in a sticky spot. Depending on your physical status, it might be a good idea if you want to fly in the Military.
