Just because your family is young there is no reason to stop traveling. If you have a family is anything like mine then we have not let it work better for us, we have just proposed. I first took my daughter to Spain, on a plane when she was 11 weeks old and then we rented a car and drove from one end of the country to another. Since then my family has changed, I have acquired two step children and my daughter, we have to travel further each year. Last year we Tunisia this year, among them are camping (and they are all seven).

Families can now enjoy even go traveling by car, train or plane on a family vacation or a weekend to their favorite destinations.

I believe that travel is an essential part of any training of the child, but often, parents with young children trying to postpone until the children are older. Children learn so much traveling. It’s one thing for them to study geography, but quite another for them to study the actual place they see. You learn other cultures, customs and pick up foreign phrases. My kids can say simple sentences is about five languages now. They make new friends when they are old enough, from all over the world and can penpals, which increases their social skills form.

If you manage to deal with your children you wont have to, “Are we there yet” to hear every 10 minutes. This only takes a little planning.

For example, every time we go away if I make a pack for each child. It does not matter whether we fly or drive I still make a packet, they get excited when they know there is a package waiting just before we travel. Things they have not seen, in order to keep their attention. I make items for a few months, it must not only cost a lot of money, which they have not done to death already.

I usually pack a backpack for each of them, they then take responsibility for their pockets. In it I would put a drink and snacks, a small box, I usually fitted with a Tupperware, with markers, stickers, paper, a puzzle book, coloring book and a book of fairy tales. Each of our children have an MP3 player (its only fair I participated in the sale for about £ 20 each) I then invite them to talk with stories they have heard. This keeps me entertained for hours, and they have to do things when they come to the goal.

If we travel by car, we spend much time in verbal games, and most times I think they’re happy for the “entertainment on board,” that talking and playing with us offers.

An example of a simple game that we play is we work through the alphabet, someone gets a letter then we go around and everyone says a word beginning with that letter. It is thought there minds and they find it much fun trying out each other to do with the words and see what is funny and sometimes rude (to her happiness with me, push) they can come with. I can also see how they developed. When we started this game that come to them with words like car, toys, games get, tree etc now I play things like atmosphere. The person who can not think of one word for this letter, comes with a new letter and we start again. There is no point in them from the game if they can not believe a word since then they get bored.

Whether you arrive by car, plane or train, it is important that you prepare them in advance. Get them excited. Show them pictures, brochures, or browse the Internet, which for the place.
