Question: Would a garment bag be a good way to hide a way a dead body?
I’m writing my first murder mystery and wondering if stuffing a dead body into a full length plastic garment bag is a good way of hiding the corpse. I think it is but been told since the bag isn’t air tight the odor would seep out. The idea was to hide the body under the box-spring of the victim’s bed. Any ideas if the garment bag wouldn’t work?

Question: Will a plastic garment bag seal in the odor from a dead body?
This is for the murder mystery I am writing so nobody panic. The scene is a girl who has been missing for three weeks was stuffed into a plastic garment bag then placed under a box-spring and mattress. Would the body odor seep through or would the plastic actually seal everything in? Any technical help/advice will be appreciated.
I’m betting it may not, so any ideas what would besides a body bag. Cause I dont see the killer running around with body bags in his trunk.

The odor would seep out. The body oils would break down the composition of the plastic bag.

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) – A Guntersville man is fighting for his life in Huntsville Hospital after he was hit on his motorcycle by what authorities are calling an illegal immigrant.
Guntersville police are watching the situation closely, because the man is in very serious condition in the intensive care unit.
27-year-old Leobardo Maldonado of Blountsville is being held on a quarter of a million dollars bond on charges of first degree assault, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and driving under the influence.
Police say Maldonado hit the motorcycle that was being driven by 40-year-old Jerry Lee Wright early Sunday morning.
Guntersville Police say the accident happened on Highway 431 at the intersection that a Shell convenience store is located.
Police say there were five officers assisting in a traffic stop at that location that witnessed the crash.
“What we saw happen was a white Mercury Mountaineer traveling northbound in the left hand lane strike a motorcycle that was sitting still at the traffic light,” said Guntersville Police Officer Anthony Harbin.
Guntersville police say the suspect was apprehended a short distance later after a short chase.
Two others riding with the suspect, Ambrocio Armendariz-Delgado and Delgado Torrez, both 32 of Scottsboro, were also charged with public intoxication.
Guntersville police say Immigration, Customs, and Enforcement officials have been contacted.

WESTMINSTER – A man faces several charges after investigators say he ran a red light and hit a motorcycle, killing the driver. According to Colorado State Patrol, the man who ran the light is not in the United States legally. The accident happened on Friday night at the intersection of 70th Avenue and Broadway Street in Westminster.
The driver, 25-year-old Efrain Villegas ran a red light and hit 59-year-old John Brand, who was on his motorcycle, according to the State Patrol.
Brand’s girlfriend, Debbie Pyatok, was also on the motorcycle.
Villegas had a passenger, Rubin Garcia Torres.
Brand and Pyatok were transported to Denver Health Medical Center where Brand died from his injuries. Pyatok walked away with some scrapes and bruises.
“He didn’t deserve to die,” Pyatok said. “I remember looking over and I had tires coming at my head. I tucked and rolled. I saw the bike and I realized it was us in the crash. I saw him [Brand] laying on the ground.”
“I was telling him not to move and I love him,” she said.
The State Patrol says Villegas drove off and two witnesses jumped in a car and followed them.
“The suspects drove northbound on Broadway into a cul-de-sac, where they got out of their car and fled on foot. The two citizens were able to restrain the passenger until State Patrol arrived on scene,” Sgt. John Hahn with the Colorado State Patrol said. “It just can’t be overstated enough the importance of witnesses. We don’t certainly advocate people following suspects at high rates of speed, but in this case it very definitely helped us.”
Villegas faces 10 counts, including vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, and driving without insurance or a license.
Villegas will appear in court on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. He is currently in custody in Adams County Jail on a $ 50,000 bond.
The passenger in his car has not been charged with anything.
Brand leaves behind a son and three grandchildren.
“I just loved him. He was a great person. Everyone’s going to miss him,” Pyatok said.

Yes, there are people killed by drunks of all backgrounds, I don’t deny that.
But it just so happens that per capita, many more come from illegals than many other groups.
And some of these other groups we can’t help, they are Americans and we’re stuck with them.
The point being, though, that if the illegals weren’t here driving, those that THEY kill would still be alive.
We can’t stop ALL drunk drivers, but we must stop all we can. And if we got rid of the illegals, that’s a good start.

The association with celebrated personalities makes things even more exciting for the graveyard tourist. Within the bounds of Greater London there are seven famous ones and people call them the “Magnificent Seven”.
Highgate cemetery opened in 1839. Many foreign exiles have found their last resting place here including Karl Marx. Douglas Adams is buried here. His explanation as to why 42 was the answer to the meaning of life was buried with him. Another noted member of Highgate’s non-living community is Alexander Litvenko. Litvenko died of polonium poisoning and it is known he fell foul of the KGB in life. Highgate is looked after by the Friends of Highgate Cemetery. They oversee the upkeep of the grounds and also offer tours. In fact the impressive mausoleums of the West Cemetery can only be visited by appointment as part of an organised tour.
Victorian tombs in particular are far more ornate than modern memorials. The visitor is presented with a rich display of stone-wrought symbolism. The wreath stands for eternal life (circular and evergreen). An incomplete column represents a life cut short. An inverted torch recalls the resurrection.
