Question: Looking for a travel agent in Abu Dhabi for a Nile cruise in Egypt?
I am a British expat worker living in Abu Dhabi. In March I hope to go on a short Nile Cruise in Egypt. Can anyone recommend a travel agent here in Abu Dhabi? As I don’t use credit cards I need a local operator. I plan to make my own way to Egypt and just want a cruise when I get there for about 5 nights. Nothing too expensive.

My husband and I are being offered a job in Abu Dhabi, how much salary is enough?

1

We have not yet given yet the details of the offer, but I will be Executive Assistant while my husband will be Logistics Manager. How much salary do you think we can demand from our prospective employer, plus housing and other benefits, as I am not familiar with the salary range and benefits in Abu Dhabi. I am afraid to ask too much or too little.

Lane is waiting for Abu Dhabi event

0

Winning this week’s Joburg Open in South Africa would guarantee the 49-year-old a start – and would also make him the oldest winner in Tour history.

Barry Lane is still waiting to discover whether he will play the 650th event of his European Tour career in Abu Dhabi next week.

The chance is alive for the ex-Ryder Cup player after an opening 65 yesterday.

That was three behind little-known South African Neil Schietekat and it put him in joint eighth place, but all seven players ahead of him were on the easier West Course at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington yesterday.

Hi golfers, there are golf clubs for sale ,if you like you can get it with low price such as ping g15 driver .

Like fellow Englishman Danny Willett, Lane went round the much longer and tougher East lay-out in six under par.

Schietekat, not even in the world’s top 1,000, led by one overnight from compatriots Charl Schwartzel and Jbe Kruger, Ulsterman Darren Clarke and England’s Simon Khan and David Lynn. Scot Alastair Forsyth was one further back.

Irishman Des Smyth remains the circuit’s oldest champion. He was just past his 48th birthday when he lifted the Madeira Island Open in 2001.

Lane is 50 in June and becomes eligible for seniors golf then, but will need no reminding that Greg Norman was third in the 2008 Open at 53 and 59-year-old Tom Watson went even closer at Turnberry last July.

There is still a long way to go for Lane to match Sam Torrance, whose record of 705 tournaments could stand forever.

happy day!

Web design Dubai and Abu Dhabi trends

0

Website design in Dubai is just as familiar with development, progression and evolution as any other country or sector in the world. Website design teams in Abu Dhabi are constantly at work developing and designing exquisite, functional websites for patrons in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but also in countries on completely different continents.

Although website design in Dubai will endure much of the same changing trends as the rest of the world does, there are some things that will always be unique to web design services in Dubai. Take for example, the use of the Arabic alphabet and the implementation of it into country specific websites. Not many other country’s will have the need to make use of Arabic lettering in their website design, as most international websites will be written in English or the home language of the country that it is based in. Specialised Arabic fonts have been designed and are being used across the UAE in newspapers, magazines, on billboards and of course on websites.

All website design teams in Abu Dhabi follow the basic web design trends that are impacting the rest of the world. These trends are always changing, as there is most definitely something new to be offered almost every month.

According to Smashing Magazine, the current website design trends for 2009 follow the path of the following as listed below. It is pretty much definite that web design in Dubai is stepping along the exact same path:

Letterpress – a technique that has seldom been used. The actual pressing of letters so that they appear to have been cut out of a piece of paper Rich User Interfaces – improving the usability experience for website users PNG Transparency – Semi-transparent designs used in the background of titles or descriptions, to highlight the title while still enhancing the design aspect Huge Typography – The title says it all. The use of massive fonts. Font Replacement – The standard and more well known fonts of all time are slowly being replaced by more visual fonts that tie in with the overall design of the websites Modal Boxes or Lightboxes – A newer and more design orientated version of pop ups that offer a call to action Media Blocks – Used for video and screencasts to further communicate a message of the website The Magazine Look – Also speaks for itself. It is basically designing the website to have the overall look and feel of conventional print magazines Carousels or Slideshows – Slideshow navigation whereby users can scan through and navigate on the site through means of a slideshow of images or features Introduction Blocks – The use of dynamic typography, inventive copy and attractive design to catch the readers attention in the first 10 seconds of viewing a website

A resource like that is more than likely a general opinion on what website designing in Dubai is currently experiencing. It does give readers an idea of what goes into the extensive process of web page design in Dubai.
