Les Halles, Paris is strange to take a shopping mall, can also be found. P> What to expect during your stay here: p> What’s Good: p time> to go here many advantages. If you walk under the arcades of the nineteenth century, rue de Rivoli Arcade, you can follow the footsteps of generations of dandies and duchesses: extinct, citizens of Paris long ago. They are near some of the most remarkable sights of Paris – Jardin des Tuileries Chatelet-site of the French Comedie, where Molière once produced his plays – the world famous Louvre Museum. And shopping on the famous Faubourg Saint-Honore, is none! P> why you do not want to stay: p> During the day in the first district offers you access to some of the most beautiful sites of Paris in a few moments on foot, which means that the business nature of the area, nightlife, however limited in the borough. So if the visitor to the Les Halles area / Saint-Denis there is not much to do. may appear Halles / Saint-Denis low brow pleasures abandoned those over 21 years (however, the section on the border of the Halles shopping center is always good – a good place to watch a movie after the huge room at the Les Halles is to stop the United States and many gifts movies in English in their original language. I love being on tour in Paris – the ninth historic district
018th Arrondissement of Paris Nord is located on the right bank of the Seine. The second area is about 3 square miles (a band of six square kilometers). The population is 185,000 and the area live about seventy thousand jobs.
The distinctiveness of the Moulin Rouge (Moulin Rouge or wind) is the culmination of this historic center. It is world famous nightclubs or use the French term, cabaret. The Moulin Rouge was built in 1889 by the owner of the Olympia hall in Paris’s oldest music in the adjacent neighborhood ninth is located. You can not miss this building because of imitation red windmill on the roof. Josephine Baker, Frank Sinatra, Mistinguett, Edith Piaf, and many other famous artists regularly played the Moulin Rouge. The story goes that Elvis had his eye on a can-can dancer and never went to Paris without interruption at the Moulin Rouge.
The cabaret was certainly the most unusual stars Joseph Pujol, who performed under the name The Pétomane. His action was open to “sing” from a rather unexpected place. His “Songs included” the French national anthem, the Marseillaise, and a replica of the 1906th San Francisco earthquake Sigmund Freud said, I’m used to catch his act. Believe it or not, for many years has been the highest paid artist in France Pujol. A contemporary British actor dressed as superhero Mr. Methane has the same kind of thing, but to my knowledge, has not won the Moulin Rouge.

The neighborhood itself has been the site of the first uprising Commune of Paris in 1870-1871, and its former gypsum mines serve as markers for the graves of many followers of these French Revolution. The everything was very bloody, and Archbishop of Paris was one of the many martyrs. If Paris was rebuilt in the eighteenth century by Napoleon III and Baron Haussmann’s henchmen, the poor people of Paris have been driven out of downtown Montmartre and other areas of the periphery.
In the late nineteenth century to the end of World War Montmartre was home to artists and their communities. Among those who have hung their hats in Montmartre Salvador Dalí, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh. The list goes on and on. Years later, turned on the artistic center of Paris, and the world, Montmartre to Montparnasse in the south of Paris. When we launched this series to life, we have promised, a vineyard in Paris. The fifteenth arrondissement in southern Paris is also home to a vineyard. But Montmartre Vineyard is more famous. local intellectuals, the vineyard planted in 1934. They have opted for an exhibition in the north (Paris is really hot, the temperature wiser?)
