Question: Eligible for traffic school for 22349 (a) traffic citation in California?
I’m an out-of-state student from Florida and I have no previous speeding tickets. I was taking my roommate to the airport when I made a wrong turn and, at this time, it was 7:22 and his flight was at 7:30. So the only way I could get him there on time was to speed. I was then pulled over going 94 in a 65 by a CHP officer. I was issued a 22349 (a) VC ticket with the description (65+mph, speeding). Now I am going to be responsible for the fine but my parents pay my car insurance. I don’t care if I have to pay a big chunk of money for the fine but I do not want the burden to fall on my parents and them to have to pay more for my insurance. Will I be eligible for traffic school based on the information I have told you? If not, can the judge make exceptions or is there no way around it. Also how much will the fine be?

You should be eligible for traffic school once you recover from the shock of the fine.

I need coverage for emergency situations. I need to be covered if I get in a car accident, break a bone, slice myself open… I’m not looking for mental health coverage, prescription coverage, preventative… Any suggestions?
I think I’m just not searching for the correct term – is it called “major medical insurance”?

You can google Affordable Health care and check online with the companies that pop up. They are going to cost some money and if the person is not making enough money they can purchase cheaper plans that have deductibles.

My in-laws each have a green card. One is 66 and the other is 61 – I want to know what senior health insurance programs or that they may be eligible for now or in the near future. Everyone is healthy now, but . . .

If they have paid into the social security from their wages, they are entitled to Medicare at time of retirement. Earliest time to retire is 62. However, no one is turned away from an emergency room, they just turf them to a county hospital.
I would urge you to contact the Department of Health and Human Resources to find out the answer. They will assist you.
