I’ve never been to Cancun. Found some great deals on all-inclusive resorts cheap as $ 450 per person for a week. But when I saw airline tickets to Dallas, they are like $ 600 per person. Any good websites or consultant for cheaper tickets? Merci.Réponse

Question: What is a great ski resort or place that isn’t well known or expensive for the holidays?
My family and I were planning to go skiing in Breckenridge, but the price to leave early was outrageous. I love skiing so much. I have been skiing since i was very young and I would really like to go skiing this holiday season. If you know of a mountain or resort that isn’t very well-known and/or expensive, i would greatly appreciate it.

We are a family of 4 and we are planning a vacation in Hong Kong in December. We are looking a good hotel near a train station or near tourist spots or near shopping districts.
We are arriving there at 8 am on Dec. 25 2009.
We already booked a room in HK Disneyland from Dec. 30 – Jan. 1.
We are looking for hotels to stay in from Dec. 25 to Dec. 30.
Can you please name some?

Kowloon Hotel is in Tsim Sha Tsui right behind the famous Peninsula Hotel, right in the middle of the shopping area for tourists and 2 minutes walking distance from the harbour. Right across this is the Holiday Inn Golden Mile. These aren’t too expensive, and are 1 minute away from a train station.
In case those are full, try Prince and Gateway, both very close to the above.

So i decided to save my money and go with my friend to Greece next summer. We be staying in Athens where his dad lives and Rhodes and Crete because we got relatives there. But i had this idea of taking a small cruise around the Aegean instead of visiting one island ( like Santorini or Mykonos) and paying for hotel. So are they expensive? Do you think a small cruise is worth the trouble? Or should i just go to Santorini or Mykonos and pay for hotel.

If you will be staying in Athens there are daily cruises of the Saronic islands, worth taking the trip.Or use the hydrofoil boats to go Aegina, Poros, Spetses, Hydra.
Most cruises stop at Myconos, Santorini, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete, Corfu.
You have to check if boarding from Athens is feasible since most cruises start from Italy. Others take on board from Corfu and Preveza. I don’t know about Athens.
The cost varies according to the days on board and the location of your cabin.

Question: not really expensive family vacation with at least 1 beach day?
looking for an not very expencive vacation for me my wife our 12 year old son & 9 year old girl. We live in Alaska so the flight will be killer anywhere, so we can’t spend a ton when we get wherever. I say somewhere in Mexico but my wife thinks that will get very expencive and dangious for the kids. What are you idea’s people?

How about Florida? Or are you looking for some place outside the United States?
If you’re into history, you could try St. Augustine, Florida. It has beautiful beaches and loads of historical charm. The beaches are free, and other attractions are priced reasonably (including an after dark walking ghost tour – which would be super fun for your kids).
You might also try New Smyrna or Ormond Beach, which are both near Daytona Beach, Florida. Because they’re on the outskirts of Daytona Beach, they’re not quite as expensive (over spring break I got a room with a balcony and a kitchenette at a beach front hotel for 100 bucks/ night). All three beaches are heavy tourist areas, so there’s a ton of things to do. Since you’re on a budget, you might be interested to know that there are a number of museums and art galleries that are free for children.

Question: What are some really good resorts to stay at in Maui that aren’t too expensive!?
I’m getting married in Maui and I need a resort that isn’t too expensive as there are 10 members of the family coming to the wedding and I don’t want it to cost to much for everybody to come! I’m thinking between $ 200-$ 350 a night not more then that. Also does anyone know where the most popular spot on this island is like for shopping and tourism? Thanks : )

The last few times I have been to Maui, it was as a chaperone for the boys’ high school soccer team, so we weren’t staying at a resort. But I would think you could stay at a pretty nice place in that price range. Kaanapali & Wailea are the areas you should be scoping. I like the Sheraton Maui in Kaanapali a lot. It is an older hotel, but the setting is absolutely gorgeous. Lahaina, near Kaanapali, is a good place for shopping & sightseeing.

It’s high season, so you’d be hard pressed to find something other than pretty pricey this time of year. In July, you will get bargains, bargains, bargains. From the holidays through Spring Break, not so much.
Travelzoo.com does a pretty impressive job of keeping up on the latest, best specials. They have a listing of a few going on the in Phoenix area now. You may want to start there and see what you find. http://www.travelzoo.com/search/?q=Arizona You may not get the 5 star Scottsdale resorts for $ 100 a night, but you may run into a pretty good deal at a pretty decent resort.

I live in Western Canada, and the distances from where I live on the east coast of Asia and the west coast of Europe are both about 8000 km.Allerdings kept everything else constant, flights to Europe are about 2 times the cost of such flights to Asia . Why is that? Flights to Europe

want to know because they know that the airlines would be a lot of people to visit to East Asia, so they push up the prices.
