This time Alaska celebrates our neighbors from the far South during the ADP (Anchorage Downtown Project) Hawaii Day Celebration (Hawaii Statehood Celebration). There is music and dance during these non-profit celebrations. See hot island girls dancing and guys with flaming batons. I found out later that the party usually runs from 1:00pm – 3:00pm in Peratrovich Park in Downtown Anchorage, if you’re lucky enough to catch it. I was fortunate to be walking by at the right time with enough room in my camera to capture some of the action. Thanks for letting me tape this. Sorry about the shaky video.
