Hampton History Museum, in picturesque downtown Hampton, Virginia is currently exhibiting Cheyne-Photography A Warm & Vital Record Time and Place in honor of Hampton? 400. Birthday. Stressing the photo of C. Ethelbert Cheyne and son, we? Happier? Cheyne (1894 from 1960), this showcase highly anticipated retrospective of works by two of the Hamptons? S-premiere recording of scenes and people downtown.

In 1894, Christoph Ethelbert Cheyne, portraitist trained to Hampton, Virginia, Cincinnati, Ohio. It is in Hampton, where he began using photography in the heart and the character of the population recorded. After Ethel Berta? Death in 1943, W.E. â? Happier? Cheyne was about his father? S tradition in the 1960s. Cheynes scenes “Road and framed portraits and compelling personal help bring to life the best of Hampton? S” Crabtownâ? Era of prosperity.
