Question: I ahve a Evinrude 80 outboard boat engine and it is having some problems?
So I have an old Evinrude 80 outboard engine and I can’t get it to run. I checked the fuel delivery and it seems to function, and the plugs are less than perfect, but they work.
the electric starter runs turns the engine over and then the engine stops. I can’t get it to run for more than a second. We tried starting it with some starter fluid and it ran with a continuous spray of starter fluid. When the other person stopped spraying it the engine would run for 3 seconds tops and then it would just stop.
What could be the problem?

What is the condition of the fuel you are using? Has it been stored a long time without stabilizer? As long as you are getting spark and fuel delivery I would think it may be the fuel itself.

The boat on the trailer is about 20 feet long and is about 7.5 feet wide.

My girlfriend is Mexican and she crosses the border with a visitors visa. She got pregnant and now we have a baby. Someone told her that because she had a baby in the USA and she was on Medical Insurance that they would take her visa away at the border. Is there any truth to this?

I don’t know, but when that visa expires, I doubt if she will be able to get a new ne. Do you plan to marry? If so, you could go ahead and apply for a fiance visa for her. Was the baby born in the U.S. or Mexico? The baby can have dual citizenship. If the baby was born in Mexico, you and the mother need to take the baby to the nearest American consulate and register the birth. This will establish the baby’s American citizenship and you can get an American passport for the baby.

The cruiseline I work for is in the USA, I have vacation plans in Italy but would like to know if it is possible to obtain an italian visa without having to fly back to South Africa first (a bit expensive). I have called all the consulates and immigration offices already….some say I can and some say I can’t…….I’m a bit confused at the moment.
I am only planning to be in Italy for approx. 1 month.

generally just go to embassy and apply. there is an Italian embassy and several consulates in america. you need a passport, two passport photos and the fee. shouldn’t be a big problem.

You will need a survey for any company to take it. Call Boat US and ask them what surveyors they will accept. Ours is 78 and they insure it.

On day 9 of a 12 day Andes trek, it is imperative that I have a bottle of Petron tequilla. My schedule is tight and don’t have anytime in Lima… and just a few hours in Cusco before heading out on the trail. What are the laws (both US and Peru) for taking a bottle down with me… or… should I just hope there is a duty free store in the Lima airport? This is really important… really!
