Question: ft. lauderdale and miami beach hotels?
me and my friend are both 20 and are planning a trip to the ft. lauderdale/miami area and are looking for a decent hotel to stay in. we don’t need anything fancy, but something reasonably priced, safe, clean and close to food etc. since we are not old enough to rent a car. if there is any you could recommend that would be great. also if you can suggest things that we would enjoy doing down there or places to eat that would help a lot.

Staying off the beach, PSTA is good. Also summer rates are there lowest. Have a great time. Try tripadvisor, they a really good travel people.

Were any sailboats (50 foot range) able to leave from Ft Lauderdale this past week, given the weather there?

Our friends just bought a 50 foot sailboat and were to sail up the east coast from Ft. Lauderdale. We expected them to wait for better weather, but we have not heard from them. Anyone know how we could find out ?
Anyone know of any cheap day cruises from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas?
