How does one get from the cruise port of Livorno, Italy to Florence, Italy inexpensively and quickly. Can one take a train? I don’t want to pay the high price excursion fare if I don’t have to.

There’s a train, of course! From Livorno Centrale to Firenze Santa Maria Novella ticket costs 6,60 euros in 2nd class and 9,90 euros in 1st class (when there’s it).
It takes 1 hour and 20-30 minutes.
