Question: Best hotels in New Orleans for Mardi Gras?
What is the best hotel to stay at for mardi gras in new orleans? I want to be right up in all the action. Im going with a group of like 10-15 people all between 22 and 25 years old. We want a good party spot! Any other mardi gras tips welcome too!

try to see about the Orleans, or possibly windsor court if you’ve got the money.
All the action is there, downtown.
Or if you’re lucky you could rent an apartment in the Quarter from the owner.

Question: How strict are New Orleans hotels during Mardi Gras regarding number of people staying in a room?
Four of my friends booked a hotel in New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year (not sure which one though). I want to go, but I don’t have a place to stay. They said I could stay with them. How strict are New Orleans hotels during Mardi Gras about this?

that depends on the hotel.

for example some hotels give out arm bands that allow guests to easily go in and out of the hotel all day and keep out the people that just need to pee.

if your staying at a cheap place probably not a problem.

find out how much it would cost to add a roll a bed to your room or if they even allow that.
