The capacity will take in twenty foot equivalent units (TEUs), the number of standard 20-foot container with dimensions of 20 × 8.5feet 8.0 × (6.1 × 2.4 × 2.6 m) of a ship measured can. Nevertheless, most containers have now measure 40 feet (12 meters) long. What’s the best method of travel between Boston and Washington DC?

Question: What’s the best method of travel between Boston and Washington DC?
I’m inclined to take the train, having taken the train between NYC and Boston; it’s fun, and DC is one stop further on that line. I’m planning to visit a friend in DC in the fall and thinking of taking the train. A friend of mine says the train is a waste of $ and the bus is a better deal. I don’t mind spending a little bit extra for a better experience. But what do you think? Have you taken both the bus and the train? How do they compare?

The bus stinks. It is cheaper but there are too many stops and it is not as comfortable. I have taken the train from Boston to New York also, and it was fun. I suggest spending the money and taking the train of taking a quick flight.

Question: What is the cheapest method of transportation either limo or bus, for 16 people from long island to manhattan?
My sister is having her birthday celebration on a cruise in the city. We would need a 16 person (minimum) limo or bus to take us from long island to manhattan, new york from 4pm- to 11pm. Anyone have any suggestions as far as what the least expensive option would be? Thanks very much!

It is real simple. It depends how progressive you want to be, or how lazy you want to be. Why don’t you just price both, compare both…using google or the yellow page. Choose 5 limos and buses, and pick the best rate based on your budget. All it takes is a day.

The Best Method of Growing Brussels Sprouts at Home

0

Brussels sprouts are a popular vegetable in the United States. But there are a few things you need to know to successfully grow one. Some of the things you need to learn are covered in this article including. . . the best time to start new plants, soil and spacing, pests you’ll encounter and more.

Brussels sprouts are usually a fall crop in the south and southeastern regions of the United States. This is because the crop takes a long to mature. Belgium is where Brussels sprouts were originally grown.

The vegetable is commonly referred to as wild cabbage. A look at the vegetables will clearly shows similar characteristics between the two. Most people are familiar with the green variety but a red variety is also available to consumers.

The soil used should be firm but not packed. Spacing between plants should be about two feet. If planting more than one row keep the spacing between the rows around three feet. The first feeding should be applied after the plant has reached a height of one foot. A slow release granular fertilizer should be enough for the entire growing cycle.

Leaf joints are where the Brussels sprouts grow. They grow from the bottom up so as soon as the ones on the bottom are about the size of a large marble you can begin to pick them. If you leave them too long they will become bitter. The leaves of the Brussels sprout can also be cooked and eaten.

The cabbageworm and cabbage lopper are common garden pests found on Brussels sprouts. A trip to a gardening store will provide you a solution to your pest problem. Because they are a late growing crop, you’ll have plenty of time to rid your plants of any pest problem that cold destroy your crop.

Remember, Brussels sprouts are a long growing crop, so plan ahead and expect to wait a while for a harvest.

Cheap Airfare to Anywhere: 3 Step Method to Getting the Biggest Discount Possible

0

Do you worry whether the airfare you found online is truly the cheapest available? You would be surprised to know how many travel-savvy internet users are only clicks away from easy, big savings. In order to find the cheapest ticket, 3 quick steps should be followed.

1) Which website to use? Many already know of a few, but it may surprise you find out not all discount websites have the same database and pricing. It is recommended to try your dates and destination with the following:

Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, Priceline (all . com)

And finally, the “grand daddy” of airfare websites, http://www. kayak. com – This searches not only a huge database of flights, but picks cheap flights from the above competitors as well. If you only search one, this is it.

All in all, referencing all these should not take more than 5 to 10 minutes and the savings can easily be in the hundreds. Creating a new account takes only minutes – Believe me, they make it easy!

2) When are you flying? It’s common sense to book as far ahead as possible. However, here are some important things to remember:

Flying Monday-Thursday is universally the least expensive way to go. So many people unknowingly spend hundreds unnecessarily when they could book their flight a day sooner or later. When checking the aforementioned websites, Try to shift the dates of your flights (if at all flexible) a day or two on both ends of your round trip. Certain combinations can save 250% or more – Airfare rates work in mysterious ways, but they’re beatable.

3) A little known secret: The service fee the big discount websites charge can be avoided entirely. Once you’re figured out your flight itinerary and airline, simply exit out of that discount booking’s window and go directly to the airline’s website. Search for the same dates, and that flight will obviously appear. Booking directly from the airline will save you between 5-20 dollars immediately. Not bad for 60 seconds of effort.

I fly 30 times or more annually. To get an extended version of this article with more tips, as well as other travel information, visit http://www. cheapairfaretoanywhere. blogspot. com

Anyone familiar with “Air couriers” as a discount travel method?

This organization advertises couriers but the prices they’ve bragged about were mostly above orbitz. I wish to travel from Knoxville, Nashville, or Atlanta to San Diego on a particular day – could this serve this purpose?
