Since Nov 13 to 15 is weekend, you will never find any hotel motel under $ 100, most go to over $ 200 per night even motel, you can live in hostel in 3 rd street in santa monica for $ 32 per bed, per adult, it is close to beach too.

Hey, I’m going to be traveling to Santa Monica over the summer with a friend of mine and we are looking for a hotel that only requires the check-in age to be 18. Quality isn’t too important to us. Thanks for the help!

18 is the standard check in age for Santa Monica. There is a holiday that is right at the pier entrance. It is a nice hotel. It has a full service restaurant and a lounge. The price does go up in the summer. You can make reservations now, the price should be lower. You would be required to hold the room with a credit card, but would have the option to cancel. You can get a room on one to the top 2 floors for only $ 10 more. The ten dollars is worth it, you get a partial ocean view and the floor is private key access. You can also walk to the third street promenade.

I know that it’s almost impossible to find cheap hotels in Santa Monica, but does anyone know of anything around $ 100 (or less would be great) a night, preferably within walking distance of the pier. Also, are there any hotels that rent weekly, or even monthly?

Try to Travelodge right next to the pier on Ocean Ave. I think it’s about a $ 100 night, at least when I was there back in December. I stayed there for business and it wasn’t too bad; it’s not dirty or anything but it’s definately no Hyatt. It’s also right next to the pier and 3rd St promenade and right next to a Metro Rapid bus stop that will take you down Wilshire to Westwood, Beverly Hills, and Downtown.

I’m looking for a cheap hotel or motel for at least two weeks near Hollywood or Santa Monica I want to see California to see if my dream can be made there yes I know it sounds lame but i want to explore it.

The cheapest would be a hostel, they should be half or less than the least expensive motel, most likely, depending on if you stay in a large dorm room or more private.

Question: Which Santa Monica Hotel is worth its price?
Going to Santa Monica in late June. Which hotel do you believe is better? We’re staying for 3 nights, family of four. We have a 14 and an 11 year old. (if that changes anything) :)

There’s the Loews Hotel at 1700 Ocean Ave. ($ 300/night)
* comes with $ 100 food/drink credit!

and The Fairmont Miramar at 101 Wilshire Blvd. ($ 339/night)
^ I’ve stayed at this one before, it was great. is it as good as Loews?

This hotel isn’t in Santa Monica, but it is nearby and is a very interesting place. It was formerly a small apartment building used for Hollywood starlets. It is now owned by one of actor Dudley Moore’s former wives.

There are four large suites and a detached apartment. They are decorated in a wonderful plushness of old Hollywood. One of the suites even has a piano once owned by Dudley Moore.

It is called Villa Delle Stelle. Check out reviews on Tripadvisor.com.

The city is divided into five main areas: Beach Cities, Westside, Hollywood, the adjacent regions and valleys. An urban beach, Santa Monica, the ideal place to base if you want to relax on the beach during your stay. It is also home to the famous Santa Monica Pier, ideal for entertaining children on trips and meals at the many restaurants and stalls that line the quay. It is truly a place where you could spend an entire evening. Third Street Promenade is a new location in Santa Monica, which is worth seeing, especially if you and enjoy food and good shopping, and who is not! Extended Stay is quite nice and affordable, but not in Santa Monica proper. You’d have to drive about five miles to get to Santa Monica from the closest one in LA.

Rent a car.

If you can’t do that, check with the hotels. Many of them have shuttles. If they won’t take you to SM, consider going to the airport instead, then taxing from there.

I wouldn’t try public transportation with that much luggage.

unless you’re a glutton for punishment. In which case, you’ll get all the punishment you need on the freeways.
