I m applying for a loan..but I have no credit nor am I in
debit..my rank is E-3 can I get the loan with out a problem?

And they will do it over the phone in about 10 minutes…also helps if you bank through them…

Question: Navy Vs. Air Force for Married Woman with 2 Children?
My husband has a good career that can travel anywhere in the U.S. I am currently looking to go into the Military for the many benefits (educational, steady pay check, health/life insurance, travel etc.). This is a decision that my husband and I made together, he is very supportive of this. I am just not sure which branch is “better” for someone with a family (Air Force or Navy?).
Before anyone says anything, YES I KNOW THAT I WILL GET DEPLOYED. I will not be like the women who get pregnant just to avoid a deployment. I have 2 beautiful sons and I don’t plan on having anymore children (We are taking precautions -i.e. the pill- to avoid an unplanned pregnancy). We are not looking forward to me deploying but we have accepted it and we have things in place for my husband and children for when it happens. Also, please don’t judge me for being a Mother and going into the Military. This does not make me a bad Mother or Wife. We are doing what needs to be done to secure a better future for our children. My children are happy, safe, healthy and they know that they are loved.
Now…as for what kind of job I’d like in the Military. I’m not really sure. I’d like something that will transfer easily into a civilian job incase I decide not to reenlist after 4 years. I don’t want to go into a career in law enforcement but here are some things that interest me: Finance, Medical, Foreign Languages etc.
Any advice, ideas, suggestions?

To those who believe I need a waiver for having 3 dependants, I think you may be mistaken. I’m in the process of going to MEPs for my ASVAB and Physical and they have not mentioned anything about this. I’ll ask about it though.
USAFBRAT64: What will happen if we deploy overseas? We are not sure. We can’t plan 100% for everything, all we can do is plan as much as we can. If we end up going overseas and my husband’s career can’t transfer over there, we will cross that bridge when we get there. But yes, to answer your question we have also discussed this as being a very real possibility. He would probably use that time to take some college courses.

Definately Air Force. I was in it. I am in the Army now. The Air Force is definately family friendly. You also get treated so much better in the Air Force. As for the Navy I have several gal friends that are in, and they are shipped away for several months then come back for a month or a week. Then they leave again.

Question: how much is a cab from Navy lodge in New Orleans to French quarter?
I wanna go to halloeen party on the 31st of Oct but hotels around french quarter are very expensive. Navy lodge is only $ 65 per night but its about 7miles away from French Quarter. Do you have any motels around french quarter around $ 100 or should I stay at navy lodge and catch a cam to french quarter?

Halloween has become like a one-night Mardi Gras and the only hotels still available downtown are expensive. Do check just before Halloween as hotels may have some cancellations. Any hotel in the French Quarter, Central Business District, Warehouse District or on Saint Charles Avenue uptown will be more convenient than staying at the Navy Lodge. Exception: The “Canal Street Hotel” on Canal Street used to be a Days Inn but has fallen on hard times (don’t stay there).
