Question: New York Hotels nearby that include the gym facility in reservation fee?
I will be attending a conference at the Hilton New York, 1335 Avenue of the Americas later this year. I have called the facility and while they do have a work out facility, it’s $ 15/day to use the facility. I think that’s a little insane considering how much you pay to stay in the hotel to begin with. Does anyone know of any hotels that are nearby this address that don’t charge an exorbitant amount to stay AND who do not charge for using the workout facilities?

Why don’t you just go to the New York Sports Club for $ 5 a day as a visitor? There’s one at E. 59th and Park Ave and anther at E. 51st and Lex(ington) Ave. I don’t know of many hotels who don’t charge for their gym facilities – especially in Midtown Manhattan. If you aren’t able to find one, keep that in mind and visit their website at nysc.com.
