Travel alert, heres the latest in the ongoing series of detours and closures for the Crosstown reconstruction project. Nicollet Avenue is closed this week beneath the 35W/Crosstown. It closed this morning and will reopen by 6 am Friday. The closure is for demolition of old bridges over Nicollet Avenue and for area storm sewer installation. Watch for detours, theyll be posted, or plan ahead and avoid the area altogether. Another H1N1 vaccine clinic is planned, this one is 4-8 pm Thursday, Dec. 3, at Eden Prairie High School, 17185 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie. The vaccine is available to • anyone age 6 months to 24 years old • adults 25-64 with chronic health conditions • pregnant women • healthcare providers • emergency medical services personnel • children and adults who live with or provide care to infants under 6 months old The vaccinations are free but families with insurance should bring their card. The Hornets lost to Breck School, the eventual champion, 1-0 in overtime, in a first-round game Friday, Nov. 27.
