Book your airfare separately, try cheaptickets.com but I have been pricing airfare for a while now for our trip to WDW in November and its a bit high right now. Also to save money look at the resort you chose to stay at, Disney has over 20 resorts so you might want to look at the value resorts, these are the All Stars and Pop Century. Every time I have checked with Disney For airfare they have been really high so check the prices without it. Check the prices on the Disney website then call them to book and ask if there are any specials, it is a holiday weekend so I wouldnt count on it but you never know.

I purchase travel insurance, but not through the cruise line. I use Travelux. And yes I have had to file a claim. I usually purchase travel insurance when I plan to cruise from a port outside the country and thus have to make airline connections and maybe spend a night in a hotel. When air connections are involved there is always the chance of delay (the last cruise we went on in May this year, get this; the plane wouldn’t start!!! …. they had to reboot the computer control systems to get it going …. took about half an hour for that. If it had been an hour delay we would have missed our connection in Boston)
Last year we had a cruise out of Dover England and when the cruise was on the last leg back they informed us that they could not dock back at Dover because of gale force winds. So they docked in Harwich instead. So we had to pay for transfers from there to the airport even though we already had tickets for the train back to London and then the commuter train to the airport. We filed a claim and the insurance company paid us.
We have other cruises coming up out of Barcelona Spain and Santiago, Chile and I will use Travelux again. I like Travelux because their insurance includes medical coverage in case you get sick.

I have been creating luggage/pocketbook/diaper bag tags by using scrapbook materials. I then use a plastic luggage tag or a baseball card plastic holder to enclose the tag. On one side of the tag are initials or name, and the other is the friend’s favorite sorts of things(sports, flowers, etc…). They are so cute, but I can’t find the plastic loopy things, unless I want to purchase 500!!! They look like a clear plastic 8-9″ flexible rubber band. Thanks to anyone who can help find these. I am not in the selling business, they are just for friends gifts and thanks yous. …………………… Just to be clear…once the tag is made and inserted in the plastic laminated holder, the plastic loopy thing goes through a hole at the end ….then it can be attached onto the bag. Thanks in advance for any help.

I tried Allstate. At the end of the online application process, it required me to talk to a local agent. I just want to get the renter’s insurance fast. Do all renter’s insurance process require applicants to visit their local agent in person? I was trying to take the simple approach. I don’t know of ANY companies that will let you do the electronic application thing – they will ALL require a visit, as far as I know, to an insurance agent’s office, OR, for you to fill in and mail an application back.
Just about ANY renters policy will give you $ 20,000 of stuff coverage and $ 100,000 of liability coverage for $ 150 a year.
See, the application thing is the key – you need to complete it. And if you miss a spot, or fill it in wrong, then the agent sends it back to you again. And sending back an application 6 -8 times to get it filled in correctly frustrates EVERYONE.
