If you like a movie Couples Retreat, it is important to realize that you are not, which is great art. This is not a film, recalls the awards season will be. This is not a film that will be remembered as a classic of 30 years in memory. Couples Retreat is a charming comedy jovial relationship that towing with some laughs and also the large heart on the road. The large talented cast, including Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau are all excellent actors, good laughs sound are thrown out of any situation for the character.

Co-written by Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau star (with Dana Fox), retirement is about four couples who go on holiday to an all-inclusive, soft toys, beautiful tropical resort in the effort to save their marriages. The only limitation of this paradise on earth is that each couple must participate in intensive skills building exercises by the French, New-Age guru created, Marcel (a silly Jean Reno), the change will not three a little “healthy” couples, if the agreement to go on the trip. If they do not participate in the exercises, they are forced to leave the island paradise. At first, they revolted at the idea of therapy, but they are deceived by their smart and they want their friends, the Council will need support so they decide to stay. The exercises, although predictably crazy, are much funnier than you might expect packed by the sharp comedic talent of the cast and a script with some funny, funny lines.

After attending a few sessions, each couple learns that their relationships are not quite what they thought. Dave (Vaughn) and Ronnie (Malin Ackerman) are overworked parents to enjoy life continue. Dave works twelve hours a day and when he comes home, he did not have the energy to devote to Ronnie, who do not expect much of him at all. They live what they believe to a normal life and on the surface, they are happy. They learn very quickly that there is more to a more just and by which they need to take more time out of life, to enjoy each other. Ackermann and Vaughn share a simple and credible chemistry that parents in need. Vaughn is his motor mouth, usually (but not a complaint) and is the master of talking in circles around him, with hilarious results. His anxiety attack during a meeting with the sharks is priceless and just about every line that expresses Vaughn hits its mark.

Jason Bateman and Kristen Bell plays Jason and Cynthia, who tried unsuccessfully to conceive a child for a year. Both are taut individuals who appear to be a match made in heaven, but after they broke their eight years of marriage, except the maps and graphics in Power Point, presented to discuss the divorce. That’s their idea to visit the station to see if their marriage has therapeutic value, is stored. Bateman and Bell to play together as a straight man to the antics of her co-stars. Seriously, there is no better person is there that Jason Bateman? There is a reason why it appears in four films (Couples Retreat, Abstract, Up in the Air and The Invention of Lying) in the second half of 2009. After toiling in failed sitcom after failed sitcom, it’s nice to see Bateman capitalize further on his brilliant work on the wonderfully absurd series Arrested Development.

Joey (Favreau) and Lucy (Kristen Davis) are married since high school because it was accidentally. You do not even know how each other and stay together for the sole benefit of their teenage daughter. You do not want to exercise to strengthen the capacities, as they believe that their marriage is also sacrificed in order to save it. Both Favreau and Davis to play with each other, laced with the poison center lines of attack each other. Favreau is fun, as a clown with anger problems and Clock from some very funny lines in the process. His contempt for Jason Power Point presentation on previous cancer Ball is a highlight. The other pair is by Faizon Love (Shane) and Kali Hawk (Trudy) played. Shane was recently divorced and dating much younger Trudy’s attempt to regain its glory days again. There are a few laughs just follow the old, try out the form Shane, his young tigress.

It is interesting that the first draft of Favreau and Vaughn, and was later to ordinary men and thirteen years, she grew up and wrote about marriage. It shows how actors have matured into men and how they are prepared to make that on the screen. He can not say that the script for Couples Retreat is as close as Swingers, but he managed. Of course it is a little mushy sitcom lesson about the third act gets, but also for members of the public in the same age as the star, it is a ring of truth to the movie. Peter Billingsley did an excellent job as director for the first time and I’m sure it will be with friends Vaughn and Favreau work again in the future.

In summary Couples Retreat not a great film, but if you look just a little laughter and fun, charismatic player, you will really enjoy this island romp, comedy relationship.
