I want to know if attending medical school in Europe like in Eastern Europe(where there are english-speaking program) will be acceptable to return to the USA. Tuition is cheaper here and acceptance is much easier. If not in Europe, then the famous UAG(which also has English-speaking programs) in Mexico. Which would be better? Medical school in Europe: Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania etc.) I know of American doctors who successfully studied in Mexico and are currently practicing in the US. Hi,
If you are considering Eastern Europe, please take into account how far from USA it is, how very expensive are tickets to visit family and how very difficult it is to adjust to that culture.
I am from Poland and I can ensure you that in Eastern Europe even if you have lectures in English you will be expected to be able to communicate in at least minimum of their language. You would need to know how to sort out your paperwork and believe me there is quite a lot of that in Poland.
Therefore if you are ready to work twice harder, you are welcomed :) you can check out Jagiellon University for the example as the best in Poland.
If you are the type of person who does not feel comfortable surrounded by strange people whou would stare at you and treat you differently – than please, stay home!
