Question: Is it cheaper too book a vacation package (hotel / flight) or is it cheaper to book hotel/flight separate?
Im just wondering becaue Im looking at vacation packages for Puerto Vallarta/Cancun/ San Juan Puerto Rico and Im getting some crazy prices for vacation packages.

It’s usually quite a bit cheaper to book the two together as a package. I usually check out both options on Yahoo Travel and Expedia.

Question: Alaska Cruise and land tour- Is it better to book separate tours?
Any suggestions on who to deal with? We are thinking Princess Cruise followed with a 4 or 5 day land tour but are wondering if booking a separate land tour would be better than the cruise ship offers. We’re also looking for a great deal, money-wise. I’d like to fish the last day and bring fish home to the San Francisco bay area.

the excersions offered on the ship are priced higher then if you book them separatedly. i suggest u book your land tours separately. don’t book them on the ship. book them in advance thru the internet if possible.

Question: Will a family travel insurance policy cover my husband and I taking separate trips at the same time?
I am traveling to Guatemala with my daughter while my husband is going to Turkey- do I need to buy two different annual policies or will a family policy cover both of our journeys?

I always hesitate in giving a definitive yes or no answer when people ask ‘will I be covered if..’.

However, I have never heard of an annual insurance policy that does not let family members travel separately and to different destinations.

You should be able to get a travel insurance annual policy that covers this.

Most insurers class Turkey as European. Since you are going to need a worldwide policy for your Guatemalean trip (jealous by the way!) it may be cheaper to organise seperate policies anyway!

Have fun! By the way, check your bank accounts / credit cards – It is amazing how many of these providers give insurance cover.

Is Epcot separate from Disneyland Florida?

So we’re travelling over to Florida in less than a month for a holiday, and we’re writing down places and things to see, one of the things my mum wants to see is Epcot, but we have officially ruled out Disneyland, am i right to say that Epcot IS a part of Disneyland? Would we have to buy a ticket to Disneyland to get into Epcot, or is it a separate part?
Also, what kind of attractions are there at Epcot, and what other venues are worth seeing at our stay in Florida?
