Bro, don’t even try it. I once tried to change my brake caliper into a flywheel, with the intention of modifying it after that into a bell-housing. It didn’t work, bro…. Leave it alone.

Don’t worry about the pool — Miracle and her sister ships have a retractable dome that goes over the pool area during cooler weather. Keeps the area warm, so you can always use the pool.
In general, I really like that style of ship. It’s a nice size and the steak house is great. Some pictures of her sister ship, Pride, are here:http://www.cruisesavvy.com/node/1141
The artwork is different (better) on Miracle, but everything else is the same.
The seas in April aren’t too bad, but definitely not perfect. According to some NOAA data I have for the New Jersey coast, wave heights are over 9 feet about 7% of days in April. This is in comparison with 14% over the winter, and 1-3% over the summer.
But if you want to read up on how to avoid sea sickness, you might want to read this:

Hope that helps!

Well, everyone is different. I would have never charged my grandmother to take care of her. My grandma came to live with me when she was 87 and she died when she was 93. I never charged her a cent. Her SS checks and pension checks went into her savings account every month. When she died, my Mom, my aunt and uncle split the money three ways. But, I got something that no money could ever bye. I got to be with my grandma every day and my children got to know their great grandmother. How could you ever put a price on that? She was very much loved.

Has Anyone Ever Taken One of Those Vacation Packages Where They Try To Sell A Timeshare?
3Question: Has Anyone Ever Taken One of Those Vacation Packages Where They Try To Sell A Timeshare?
Recently, I signed on for what seemed to be an excellent vacation package. Two nights stay at a Williamsburg, VA resort w/two adult tickets to Busch Gardens included – all for only $ 89. Additionally, they are claiming they will give me two more nights at another time – FREE of charge – to return.
Upon verifying this package, I realized it is a time share selling package. You get this rate – but you have to devote an hour and a half to them dragging you around the resort and attempting to sell you a timeshare in it. There’s no obligation to buy (supposedly) – but you have to at least take the tour and participate to get the rate and return package deal. The return trip doesn’t include the hour and a half tour again.
Has anyone ever done this? Did they make you sign anything? Is putting up with the tour and timeshare selling attempts worth it for the trip or is this a scam that will only inconvenience me and my family on our vacation?

When my DH and I were newlyweds, with limited budget, we use to do these 1 or 2 times a year. We were in locations we would have chosen to visit anyway, and the 2-3 hours (it generally takes this long, especially if you are not ready to make a purchase) didn’t seem too much of a sacrifice. We divided up the cost of room and any meals if they were offered, and figured it wasn’t a bad rate of hourly pay! Be warned, however, they can be very high pressure, and it all looks great while you are there. If you have little sales resistance, or are impulsive, you will walk away with a time share that may have a lot of hidden costs, and in the long run, doesn’t really save you much money. My husband and I decided in advance who would be “the bad guy” that would not agree, no matter HOW TEMPTING!
Is the contract on the boat we just purchased binding? We have not taken delivery.?
2Question: Is the contract on the boat we just purchased binding? We have not taken delivery.?
We just signed a contract last night. The purchase is a new “Blue Water Mirage” Around $ 32,000.00. We are questioning if the passanger load. Can we get out of this deal if we have not taken possession of the boat. Delivery is set for Friday. Please advise. We are not ones that usually “jump in”. We acted on emotions……Dumb I know!

Are you questioning ‘if the passenger load’ or are you questioning whether you really want to spend ‘around $ 32,000.00′ on a boat?
If it’s the first, then maybe the passenger load is fine, or you can change the contract to a different boat. The seller doesn’t *have* to accommodate that, but he can, out of the goodness of his heart.
If you really just want to back out of the contract entirely (which I am guessing is the case) then you will have to really really rely on the goodness of his heart. You should probably offer to pay a penalty, in the way of coronary assistance. I’d say at least 5% of the purchase price. After all, he would be giving up a sale – what would you be giving up? He may appreciate you sharing some of the pain.

We just got back from an amazing 12 day Cruise out of Rome with Carnival on the Freedom. My 13 and 10 year old loved it. By flying into Rome, you can do it on your own like we did for a couple of days before the cruise. Cruises that stop in Rome for a day don’t give you nearly enough time since it’s over an hour to get to and from the port minimum. The Grand Mediterranean is the best itinerary for you through Carnival- you cruise into Venice one day – stay all day and overnight and cruise out the next afternoon – over 25 hours to explore & come and go from the boat as you please.
WE LOVED IT! BOOK EARLY!! July 2007 was sold out ages before the cruise because it’s popular with families!

Has anyone taken the Disney World Cruise and WDW visit?
4Question: Has anyone taken the Disney World Cruise and WDW visit?
I have just started researching a Disney World Cruise for myself, husband and our son who will be four and a half by the end of next year when we plan to take the Cruise.
I need some info and tips from some who have been on the four day and three night cruise.
I have chosen the Polynesian Resort for our stay at DW, but I want a particular section to stay in. I want the Hawaii with a MK view. Can a travel agent arrange this?
Also, which do you do first—- the Cruise or DW?
If you do not fly into Orlando, where do you get the bus to the Cruise ship? I understand that they transport you to the ship from the airport, but what happens if you do not fly in?
Do the little ones enjoy the cruise?
I would really appreciate hearing from those who have done this.
Thanks in advance.

My wife and I have never done the land and sea package but we have been on MANY Disney Cruises. First,
Polynesian Resort~~ Great choice, beautiful location and easy access to Magic Kingdom. Perfect for your four year old. I do not believe that you can request a certain section of the hotel, unless you stay in concierge.
Next, we believe that you can decide what you do first, cruise or the theme parks, however you need to keep in mind which day your cruise departs.
Not flying? I am most certain that you can catch a Disney Cruise Line bus from either a resort or one of the parks, you do not necessarily have to fly in on the day of your cruise.
Little ones enjoy the cruise? Mickey Mouse is on the cruise with you, how can a child not enjoy it? There is almost a whole deck devoted to the children. My wife and I get jealous every time we cruise because we cannot go play with them. They have a wonderful staff to take care of the little ones and set up games and activities. We usually see the kids not want to leave the Oceaneer’s Club because they are having so much fun. There are Disney stage shows, movies, activities and much more devoted to all ages on the ship. If your child does not enjoy it, I would be shocked.
Now, make sure you and your husband get to get an evening out at Palo’s for dinner. There is an extra charge (about $ 10) but it is definitely worth it. While your son is having fun with his new friends you can enjoy some quiet time at the adult pool or take your son with you to the family pool. The characters are always hanging around. But make sure you all get a nap in the afternoon since the fun doesn’t end until late!!! When you get off of your 3 or 4 night cruise you are going to be addicted like myself and my wife are!! It is, I think, better than the parks! Be ready to want to book a 7 day!
I hope I was a little helpful. While you are enjoying it, we will be jealous! Have fun!
