Question: Question about register training at Macy’s?
If you are currently working at Macy’s or used to please read all of this.
I am a new employee at Macy’s and already did my computer training and pos(point of sale) training with the registers. This was all computerized though and I didn’t do register training on the sales floor. It was in one of their rooms in human resources. Anyways, I am trying to learn more about the macy’s star reward cards so I can successfully sell those but that isn’t really what I am worried about. I am mostly worried about starting on tuesday(this coming week) at 9:35 because I don’t feel comfortable with the registers yet. There is so many things that go into them and I don’t feel I really got the hands on training I need. Even though I followed the computers intructions and did some examples on the registers, it was only once and that was about 5 days ago almost.
Will I be left to myself when I start on Tuesday? I am really excited about this job because I had a lot of trouble finding one in this market. Also, I love Macy’s but I just am really nervous and don’t want to appear stupid. Can anyone take the time to answer this who works there? Will I receive any more training with registers or do they have buddy’s like the Macy’s website says. Can someone tell me what I will need to do when I get there tuesday morning.
P.s I work in the intimates department and woman’s/luggage.

Question: Training on a treadmill with a garbage bag suit?
If I have to train on a treadmill, and the treadmill doesn’t go fast enough for me. Should i train in a garbage bag suit or a lot of layers of clothing to make me sweat more. Would that be effetive or should I just run in my normal attire.
And I am training for track, not trying to loose weight.

running in a garbage bag suit wont make you any more in shape…it will just make you sweat but that will mot make up for the lack fo leg speed being experienced.

Programs
Diesel Truck Driver Training School from October 11th October with the launch of two two weeks Basic Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program and the week of 4 CDL classes full.
The core program provides instruction and behind the wheel training in areas such as pre-trip inspection, coupling and uncoupling maneuvers, vehicles and others. I would recommend seeking out local flight schools to get your license. Keep in mind, some of these big schools charge a lot for instructor time and rental time. If your looking for a career, it is probably more important to build hours rather than attending a well known school. For example, there is a school that is not far from me that charges instructor time at $ 85/hour for private pilots whereas if you go to a local flight school 20 miles away that range drops to $ 30-$ 50 per hour. Save the cash and build hours!
