Question: What is that small wheel on the computer tower under the tray for?
I have 2 small adjustment wheels onder both openings on the tower. I have never noticed them before and wonder what they are for.

Are you talking about the wheels below the CD trays?

Those are just volume controls for the headphone output that some CD-ROM drives have.

They do not do anything other than adjust the volume for that particular output.
