Wayanad Honeymoon 2

The entire footages what you see is shot in Wayanad and this was our second destination of our honeymoon after Goa. We stayed in a place called lakkaddi which is really in the interior of the forest. the resort where we stayed was called RAIN COUNTRY RESORTS and we had booked it way too before our travel to avail good discount. when we had gone we witnessed heavy rains and its told by the local people that wayanad witnesses the maximum rainfall in the entire state of Kerala. to be honest we had no intention of leaving our resort and going anywhere as the experience within the resort was so comforting and inviting, and moreover we felt we needed this kinda break especially after the hectic Goa. we stayed in a honeymoon cottage and the food was all paid for in advance, the chef used to come daily and take our order as to what has to be served for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even tea time snacks. the food was really really good. it was upon the request of Rain Country Resorts that we went to see places around in Wayanad. The resort people arranged a vehicle for us for sightseeing and took us to pookat lake, tea estates and some high range forest. there were many many sightseeing places in Wayanad but trust me, we were so mesmerised within the resort we felt everything else secondary. do ensure you book a vehicle that will come to pick you from the railway station or calicut airport because it will be stupid on your part to find a vehicle that will just come there and if . . .
